Knowing it All!

Either you show, or you hide,

The heart still knows what is right.

Whether you open, whether you close,

The heart knows everything that lies.

You show you’re the one, who is innocent,

And disguise yourself being the sheep wherein you are the fox.

Like the daughters of Lear you proclaim hollow praises,

Which inside are nothing but sick lying faces.

When you own it, the fox quickly appears,

Like it had never been the sheep, which for us, has now disappeared.

Then being Shylock you get your own back,

By weighing up the matter you devise to create a rack.

Learning to know the future doesn’t do any good,

Similar to Macbeth bringing a terrible out look.

For the dream you have and to make it come true,

You formulate things up, to have that value.

To have it any how you give the impression of Hamlet,

Your mind begins to go mad like Lady Macbeth’s.

You turn out to be a traitor like Edmund.

Who gets nothing, but a zilch in the end.

Having your mind tormented with worries,

Like poor Ophelia who was drifted away with great anxiety.

Well, even if you show or you hide,

The heart still knows what is right.

Ruqaiya Lokhand.

Thanks to all the Shakespearean characters.. 🙂

And the most credit goes to for teaching this great art to me ‘Maryam bhen Sadriwala’ 🙂

That was a good depiction of Shakespearean characters rather lets name it the “THE Shakespearean RHYMES”. Rhymes is a method of remembering facts (Like acronyms and acrostics)

RUQAIYAAA… you all never cease to amaze me. As predicted all of you have unique styles and each of you stand out in your own way and bring life to your blog. This brought back a flood a memories of the times we had discussing Shakespeare and his brilliant plays.

I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of doing Shakespeare with your class, because not only did you all understand all levels of it and relate to every character but instead one of you always brought in an absolutely novel point which i had not thought about.

    This is excellently related!
