For the Moment Has Come

The moment gushed into the race,

Seasons stretched, time unrepentant,

No ice melting, no revelation of spring,

Hibernating in a dormant cocoon,

Little we knew our time was now,

Tears of glee melting crystal frosts,

Bright rays contouring our cheeks,

Nights shining with full moon so bright,

Flight of Butterflies floating within,

Sweet blossoms blooming all around,

Each soul like a grit lighting bolt,

Hearts like a bed of starlit sea,

Children to feel your first presence,

Ready steady to be where you are,

On tiptoes with little hands bind,

For the moment we eagerly await.
